Thesl is South Africa’s only comprehensive insuretech company with a suite of solutions that makes the quantification and settlement of content claims simple and efficient for insurers and their customers.

Thesl developed its own proprietary procurement system called TenderSystem, which is currently in its 4th generation, and has been refined over the last 14 years. It is developed on a robust integration layer, allowing customisation at each client, and is currently integrated into a multitude of insurers, payment processors, merchants, and couriers to automate the complete end-to-end claims quantification and settlement process. Quantifications are managed on a tender basis and pricing needs to be provided within strict timelines. Once claims are approved, spend can be directed through the system to an approved network of merchants and service providers via Thesl’s settlement programs, which include direct-buying orders, mobile vouchers, as well as a bank-sponsored, debit-card program. This system also includes: a full panel management module, comprehensive reporting and analytics, and contract management and messaging.

CLAIMSCARD

ClaimsCard, an alternative settlement mechanism to cash payouts, is a Standard Bank sponsored MasterCard Debit Card used by insurance partners to settle claims.

MOBILE VOUCHERS

Another alternative to cash payouts, a mobile voucher solution provides the insurer with a mechanism to settle claims directly to the insured’s mobile device for quick claims settlement.
